Sactown Sports 1140AM has announced Allen Stiles will join Chris Watkins for the station’s midday program.
“The energy, enthusiasm, and fresh perspective that Stiles and Watkins bring to Sactown Sports is simply infectious,” said Bonneville Sacramento Senior Vice President and Market Manager Steve Cottingim. “And as the Sacramento Kings season begins, the addition of this new show again highlights our commitment to Sacramento sports.”
Stiles joins the station after previously working at 95.7 The Game in San Francisco.
Watkins was paired with Whitey Gleason until he shifted to afternoons with Kyle Draper after the departures of Nick Cattles and Ramie Makhlouf. He had been hosting Chris & Company on an interim basis as the station decided on a long-term solution.
With the addition of Stiles and Watkins, Sactown Sports has now set its weekday lineup.
The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross continues to air from 6-10 AM, followed by the newly paired Stiles and Watkins. Meanwhile, The Drive Guys with Gleason and Draper host from 2-6 PM.
Stiles and Watkins will officially begin on Thursday, October 26th.
