The Seattle Seahawks are donning their highly anticipated throwback uniforms for their game Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, and FOX NFL analyst Daryl “Moose” Johnston is ready.
Seattle’s uniforms pay homage to the Seahawks teams of the 90s that ruled the turf of the Kingdome.
Johnston was a guest on Brock & Salk on Thursday and host and former Seahawk Brock Huard asked if he and his broadcast partner Adam Admin would be taking part in the throwback in some way.
“I was not aware that it was spreading off the field, but yeah, I’m up for taking advantage, taking part in that,” Johnston said. “I could go with some 90s apparel in the booth, I could get some eye black. I guess I could see if I could dig up my old foam neck roll and have that on.”
“If you wear your old foam neck roll, that will be, as far as I’m concerned, the greatest commentary design I’ve seen,” co-host Mike Salk responded. “That would be number one.”
Johnston won three Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys in the 90s. Moose made his living as a fullback blocking for Emmitt Smith.
