Additionally, the station has announced Renee Vitale is joining the early morning First Thing with Mike Parsons show — which airs from 5-6 AM — and will also work as the morning traffic and weather reporter.

In late afternoons, the station has enlisted former Detroit Lions star Lomas Brown and Sean Baligian to host Sportswrap with Lomas Brown and Sean Baligian. That program will air daily from 6-7 PM. The show will dissect the greater Detroit sports scene, including a focus on the NFL’s Detroit Lions, NBA’s Detroit Pistons, NHL’s Detroit Red Wings, and MLB’s Detroit Tigers.

“I am pleased that Jamie, Lloyd, Lomas, and Renee have agreed to be part of WJR’s great new lineup. They all bring a tremendous amount of experience to WJR, and our listeners are going to enjoy their contributions to this great radio station,” said WJR Program Director Ann Thomas.

JR Morning with Guy, Lloyd and Jamie plus SportsWrap with Lomas Brown and Sean Baligian as bookends to our current big-name local daily shows on WJR has given ‘The Great Voice of The Great Lakes’ more prime time firepower than at any time in the past 20 years!”, added Cumulus Media Regional Vice President and Market Manager Steve Finateri.
