ESPN has announced it will carry the first regular season game of the 2024 MLB season, and it will all begin in Arlington, Texas where the Texas Rangers will raise a World Series banner before taking on the Chicago Cubs.
The network will be live at Globe Life Field on Thursday, March 28 starting with SportsCenter at 6 p.m. Eastern. Baseball Tonight will follow at 6:30, leading into first pitch at 7:30.
The Sunday Night Baseball crew of Karl Ravech, David Cone, Eduardo Perez, and Buster Olney will handle game coverage. SportsCenter will be live after the final out.

2024 will be ESPN’s 35th season of covering MLB.
