In his latest Tucker on X video, Tucker Carlson hosted a sit-down interview with The Daily Wire’s Candace Owens. The timing of the interview raised eyebrows as Owens has been embroiled in a war of words with her company’s co-founder, Ben Shapiro. Dana Loesch wondered if the timing was coincidental or not.
During The Dana Show Thursday, the syndicated radio host claimed she usually stays out of similar squabbles but was drawn into this particular disagreement.
“I normally — honestly — don’t give a rat’s ass about other people’s petty disputes and all that other stuff. But I do think it’s kind of weird just some of the stuff that I’ve seen,” said Loesch.
“I think that you can say whatever you want to say no matter whom you’re working for. But I also think that you need to be held to account for what you say. And I think we have to slow our roll…there was a thing that came out that was very well organized that came out yesterday. Tucker and Candace sat down — very, very interestingly timed, very well organized — and they were having a conversation and they were going after Ben.”
Dana Loesch didn’t choose one side or the other in the feud. She did note that she has vehemently disagreed with Shapiro in the past on certain topics, and the pair worked out their differences in private. She shared her belief that that is the proper way to handle disputes between members of the same political party. Sparring in public, she claimed, opens the door for political opponents to divide members of the Republican party.
