CNBC technology and policy reporter Lauren Feiner has announced that Friday is her final day with the financial outlet.
Feiner claims her departure is tied to layoffs happening at the network.
“After 5 years at CNBC, today is my last day,” Feiner wrote in a post to X, formerly Twitter. “I recently learned my role was impacted by cuts at the company. While I’m sad to be leaving an amazing group of colleagues, I’m also excited to pursue new opportunities. Not sure what’s next but open to leads and freelancing advice!”
Lauren Feiner joined CNBC in 2018 for her Washington, D.C.-based role after previously spending time in the podcast space. She worked at the podcast company Indicative and also hosted a podcast for The Daily Pennsylvanian, the college newspaper at the University of Pennsylvania.
