The Big Ten Network saw its largest-ever audience Saturday as #2 ranked Ohio State defeated the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
According to the network, more than 2 million viewers watched the Buckeyes 37-3 victory. It is the first event in Big Ten Network history to eclipse the two million viewer mark.
Previously, the network’s largest audience was a 2021 football broadcast featuring Iowa and Nebraska. That game was held on Black Friday and drew 1.99 million viewers.
The new high mark continues a trend of increased viewership on BTN this fall. The third most-watched game in the cable channel’s history came in September as Michigan defeated Rutgers in front of a television audience of 1.93 million.
