“So here’s the deal,” Ferrall wrote, “I’ve had MAJOR (heart) surgery! Valve replacement! Dr. Badass saved my life (with) 9 (hour) surgery. I blew out a valve and had incredible breathing problems…It’s a long road back but I SHALL RETURN. Please be patient (with) me.”

Ferrall also thanked SportsGrid ownership and “suits” for being “great” to him.

The 58-year-old has been a fixture in sports radio after working at stations like WFAN, KNBR, WCNN, and WQAM before moving to FOX Sports Radio, SiriusXM’s Howard 101, and CBS Sports Radio before joining SportsGrid in 2020.
