77WABC morning host Sid Rosenberg has turned his program into a ratings juggernaut in New York City. With that expanded reach comes expanded opportunities. And that’s why he’s taking his show on the road in January to Jerusalem.
During Sid and Friends in the Morning, Rosenberg claimed that prominent New York businessmen have been compelling him to go to Israel to get a first-hand look at the chaos and destruction happening as terror attacks from Hamas and response from Israel continue in Gaza.
“This was one of the most rewarding weekends I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever,” Rosenberg said earlier this week. “I know I can say the same thing for my beautiful wife, Danielle, because what we did on Friday and Saturday was just amazing. I’m telling you this right now. This show — Sid and Friends in the Morning — will do anywhere between two and three shows live from Jerusalem sometime in January. I am telling you that right now.
“And I’ll tell you why that’s going to be the case, how we are going to finance that trip, where we’re going to stay, and the genuine enthusiasm for this show, not just all over New York, but all over the country, as far as Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and why this show has no choice at this point.”
Sid Rosenberg noted that he had received several messages from American soldiers telling him how much they appreciated his daily program. He added that he felt compelled to tell the story of the Jewish people not only in Israel but in the United States as hate crimes against the religion continue to rise after the October 7th attacks from Hamas.
