Longtime Bishop and Friends co-host and producer Marc “Chops” Finch is going to be sticking around Columbus for a while longer. 97.1 The Fan recently announced that it had signed Finch to a multi-year contract extension.
Finch has been at 97.1 The Fan since 2016 and said he’s looking forward to continued growth and success alongside host Beau Bishop and Eric Rieser.
“The added commitment from the station shows their belief in us and our fun, entertaining and informative mix of personalities on the show,” Finch said. “The three-man weave in our daypart has been a great addition to the variety of voices on The Fan.”
“Chops’ unique perspective and sense of humor are important to the continued success of Bishop and Friends,” added program director Matt Fishman.
Finch will continue to host weekend shows with Rieser like Fan Sports Saturday and Fan Game Night.
