Patrick Creighton has announced he is departing ESPN 97.5 in Houston, with his final show taking place on Friday.
Creighton has hosted Late Hits for the Gow Media-owned station since 2018. The show currently airs from 7-9 PM each weekday.
In a post to X, Creighton revealed that his final edition of Late Hits was Wednesday before he’ll step in as a guest host for The Paul Gallant Show on Friday.
“It’s been my pleasure to be able to talk with you and share sports and fun,” Creighton wrote. “It’s the close of the current chapter but not the last one.”
Creighton hosted the show alongside Jayson Braddock until January 2021, before Braddock departed. The pair famously got into an on-air argument in September 2020 that saw profanities lobbied between the two on the station’s Twitch stream.
However, they immediately squashed the beef and continued hosting the show together. After Braddock’s departure, Creighton hosted the program by himself.
In addition to his role with ESPN 97.5, Patrick Creighton also hosted a program for what is now known as SportsMap Radio.
