95.7 The Game Brand Manager Matt Nahigian has largely been a behind-the-scenes figure during his tenure leading the Bay Area sports radio brand. That changed Tuesday morning.
Nahigian was joined by newcomer F.P. Santangelo for Monday’s edition of The Morning Roast, which is usually hosted by Bonta Hill and Joe Shasky.
In a post to X, Matt Nahigian joked, “They went to the last guy on the roster and I got the call!”
It was announced Santangelo was joining 95.7 The Game earlier this month after he was part of widespread cuts at crosstown competition KNBR in November.
In an interview with SFGate, Nahigian shared his admiration for Santangelo, saying “He’s a guy that’s got great perspective about what it’s like behind the scenes in the locker room. How great is that conversation going to be day-of? ‘What skirmishes did you see when you were a player? How did that affect the team?’ I think he relates to the audience extremely well.”
