This month marks 14 years on air together for the 610 Sports Kansas City Morning Show tandem of Bob Fescoe and Josh Klingler.
‘Fescoe in the Morning’ is heard weekdays from 6 am to 10 am local time and debuted on January 3, 2010.
“14 years is an eternity in radio,” said Fescoe. “I’m lucky to have the best co-host in America along side me in Josh Klingler.”
The success of the local teams Bob Fescoe and Josh Klingler discuss each day only adds to what the pair has been able to accomplish. “We’ve been through some amazing experiences with World Series, Super Bowls and Final Fours,” Fescoe said. “We have been blessed to have had so much success and to have teams we cover that have delivered us championships as well.”
Klingler, who also handles pregame host and sideline reporter duties for the Chiefs Radio Network, has been with 610 Sports for more than 20 years.
610 Sports Kansas City Program Director Steven Spector believes what the two hosts have in common plays a big part in their success. “I think it’s because they truly care,” he said. “They care about KC, they care about the teams, they care about their listeners. Some hosts don’t have that in their DNA, but both those guys do and it’s what makes their show able to last and their relationship with each other so special.”
