CBS Sports Reveals Super Bowl LVIII Plans for Linear and Digital Channels

CBS and Paramount+ are ready to broadcast Super Bowl LVIII live from Las Vegas and they’ll have a full slate of pre and post-game coverage across linear and digital channels. This includes seven hours of pre-game coverage on Super Bowl Sunday on CBS, CBS Sports Network and even Nickelodeon.

Analysis begins on Super Bowl Saturday with CBS Sports’ That Other Pregame Show and NFL Films’ Super Bowl LVIII Countdown Show. Host Adam Schein, analysts Kyle Long, Amy Trask, and Brock Vereen, and lead NFL insider Jonathan Jones will preview the teams, players, and storylines surrounding Super Bowl LVIII on TOPS, while the Countdown Show will give you, “everything you need to know leading up to Super Bowl LVIII.”

On Sunday, the pre-game hype begins at 11:30 a.m. ET on Nickelodeon with NFL Slimetime, where hosts Nate Burleson and Young Dylan preview the game with NFL highlights, interviews and game picks with plenty of slime. Then, at noon, NFL Films’ Road to the Super Bowl will reflect on the sights and sounds from the 2023 NFL season. The one-hour special will feature the best of nearly 125 players and coaches wired for sound, focusing on the most exciting moments and the best teams on the journey to Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII.

At 1:00 p.m. ET, YOU ARE LOOKING LIVE! The Show That Changed Sports Television Forever tells the story of The NFL Today, featuring interviews with Brent Musburger and Jayne Kennedy as well as current TV personalities. Then, at 2:00 p.m. ET, The NFL Today begins four hours of pre-game coverage airing live from the Bellagio and Allegiant Stadium.

At 6:00 p.m. ET, the Super Bowl Kickoff Show rounds out the Network’s lead-up to kickoff, featuring the singing of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and “America the Beautiful” as well as the coin toss and team introductions. Then, at long last, Super Bowl LVII kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET. Per usual, the A-Team of Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson will call the action during the Big Game.

Following the game, the crew from The NFL Today will recap the action and Nantz will deliver the Lombardi Trophy to the winning team.
