NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo highlighted an excellent week for the network. According to Nielsen, the network delivered its top-rated week in primetime (Monday through Friday) among total viewers and adults 25-54 last week (the week of January 22).
Cuomo led the way with good ratings for the network as NewsNation’s CUOMO at 8 p.m. ET delivered its highest-rated week ever in both total viewers and the key 25-54 demographic last week. The show averaged 200,000 viewers and 40,000 in the younger demo, per Nielsen.
Moreover, on Friday night, Nielsen noted that CUOMO delivered 211,000 viewers, surpassing three other shows in the 8 o’clock timeslot for the night, including CNBC’s American Greed (59,000 viewers), FOX Business’ Cops (113,000 viewers) and HLN’s Forensic Files (132,000 viewers).
For over a year, Cuomo has been hosting his primetime show on NewsNation. The former CNN anchor launched his program, Cuomo, on October 3, 2022, aiming to deliver commentary and content that is more neutral and less partisan.
