The newly-formed United Football League will kick off its 2024 campaign on Saturday, March 30 with a doubleheader pitting former USFL and XFL teams against each other. Over the next 10 weeks, four former XFL clubs and four former USFL teams will battle it out under the UFL banner to claim an inaugural league champion.
FOX starts the season with two marquee matchups. In the very first UFL game, league champions do battle as the reigning USFL champion Birmingham Stallions take on the XFL’s champion, the Arlington Renegades. In the afternoon game, the St. Louis Battlehawks travel to Detroit to take on the Michigan Panthers.
ESPN takes over on Sunday, March 31, with a doubleheader of their own. The championship runners-up, the D.C. Defenders, break out the Beer Snake when the San Antonio Brahmas come to town. In the afternoon game, the Houston Roughnecks host the Memphis Showboats in interconference action.
