Earlier this week, Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) joined House Democrats in voting against impeaching Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Salem Radio Network host Mike Gallagher dealt with angry constituents.
In a video published to his website, the Salem Radio Network host joked that he wanted to reiterate the he’s the conservative talk radio host and not the Congressman.
“I’m Mike Gallagher the talk show host, not Congressman Mike Gallagher from Wisconsin,” he joked.
“For the record, I am not him. My email inbox? Wow. You oughta see the way people are cursing me, and threatening me, and are livid because they think I’m the Wisconsin Congressman. I can only imagine what his email inbox looks like. It can’t be pretty.”
He concluded by noting “I’m Mike Gallagher the big mouth talk show host, not the misguided Congressman from Wisconsin.”
The 39-year-old politician was elected in 2022 and began serving the 8th Congressional District of Wisconsin in 2023. He is currently the Chairman of the House Committee on the Chinese Communist Party.
Meanwhile, the Salem Radio Network host has been heard in national syndication since 1998.
