More than 120 million Americans watched the Super Bowl Sunday. 77 WABC host Greg Kelly wasn’t one of them, claiming there are too many important issues facing the nation to spend hours watching football.
During The Greg Kelly Show Monday, the New York-based host said he only watched two minutes of the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the San Francisco 49ers because he was focused on uncovering underreported topics.
“There’s really important stuff going on. I don’t care if I sound like a party pooper or whatever. You know what I did with this weekend? I read — and I’m not even all the way through it, to be honest — the Robert Hur investigation into Joe Biden and the documents,” said Kelly. “I’ll tell you why I’m going into it. Because nobody else is. It’s astonishing to me, the stuff that is in this report that is not being reported.”
He continued by noting his belief that the explosive report that claimed one of the reasons President Joe Biden was avoiding punishment for his handling of classified documents is due to his stature as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” was an eye-opener for others in the media.
“Everybody is feasting on that thing about Joe Biden’s ‘Remember when Beau died’ and doesn’t remember when he was Vice President…Guess what? Joe Biden is actually playing up the memory loss as a legal strategy, alright? That’s a whole other thing when we get to, but let’s pretend for a moment that he actually is losing his memory like that. Well, I already knew that. You already knew that. I mean, it’s interesting and fun that a government lawyer actually put that in a government report. Wow. Now, the mainstream media have to confront it.”
