105.3 The Fan in Dallas hosts Mike Bacsik and Jared Sandler will have increased roles with Texas Rangers broadcasts in 2024. K&C Masterpiece co-host Mike Bacsik will move from TV studio analyst to game analyst while Rangers pregame and postgame host Jared Sandler will have more play-by-play assignments.
Bacsik is a former big league pitcher who played for the Cleveland Indians, New York Mets, Texas Rangers and Washington Nationals. He is perhaps best known as the pitcher who surrendered Barry Bonds’ record breaking 756th home run.
Bacsik has been a part of the Bally Sports Southwest pre and post game coverage and now he will join the regular rotation of game analysts. 105.3 The Fan Program Director Gavin Spittle tells Barrett Sports Media, Bacsik will still appear remotely on K&C Masterpiece with Kevin Hageland and Cory Mageors when he is on the road with the Rangers.
Jared Sandler is in his tenth season as a member of the Rangers Radio Network. He has been the primary host for the pre and post-game shows since 2015 while assuming more play-by-play responsibilities in the last several years. He is expected to do play-by-play for approximately 70 radio and ten television broadcasts in 2024.
In addition to his work on Rangers broadcasts, Sandler fulfills various on-air responsibilities with The Fan.
