Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro has long been a mainstay in the conservative podcast realm. However, the syndicated radio host is rising up the podcast rankings in the month of February.
The latest rankings from Podtrac show Shapiro as one of the top risers in the space, moving from 9th to 7th on the list of podcasts with the highest unique monthly audience.
The Ben Shapiro Show isn’t the only news podcast featured in the top 20 this month. The first four spots are taken by news podcasts. The Daily from The New York Times remains in the top spot, followed by a pair of NPR podcasts — NPR News Now and Up First. Rounding out the top four slots is Dateline NBC produced by NBC News.
The Dan Bongino Show rests just outside the top 10, ranking 11th in February. Meanwhile, Fox News Hourly Update (14th), 20/20 (15th), 48 Hours (18th), and CNN 5 Things (20th) are also included in the most-listened-to podcasts list.
iHeartPodcasts remains the top podcast publisher, with its 870 active shows reaching a unique monthly audience of more than 33 million. NPR (19.875 million), Wondery (17.631 million), The New York Times (9.8 million), and NBC News (9.4 million) round out the top five of that category.
