Current Timberwolves play-by-play man Michael Grady is getting called up to the national stage. He’ll call tonight’s matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings alongside Greg Anthony.
According to Awful Announcing, this will be Grady’s first NBA on TNT broadcast. Grady has been the television play-by-play voice of the Timberwolves for two years alongside Jim Petersen. Before heading to Minnesota, he served as an on-air talent for the YES Network on Brooklyn Nets games.

Grady has already called a game for NBA TV and now calls a game for TNT, which could mean he’s not long for local television. Like many of his sports media colleagues have said, T-Wolves fans should enjoy him while they have him, because he’s headed to the national stage.
