4 Hubbard Family Members Honored in 2024 Minnesota Broadcasters Hall of Fame Class

The Minnesota Broadcasters Association has announced its 2024 Hall of Fame class, and four members of the legendary Hubbard family are included in the group.

Kari Hubbard-Rominski, Stan E. Hubbard, Ginny (Hubbard) Morris), and Robert W. Hubbard will all be enshrined in the latest class honored by the Minnesota Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

Stan E. Hubbard is the current Chairman and CEO of Hubbard Broadcasting, while Robert W. Hubbard serves as the company’s Vice President and president of the Television division. Hubbard-Rominski currently runs the corporation’s foundation, while Morris serves as the chair and CEO of Hubbard Radio.

A storied family in Minnesota broadcasting, Stanley E. Hubbard launched Hubbard Broadcasting in the Twin Cities nearly a century ago. Since its inception, the broadcast company has grown to include 14 TV stations, including six in Minnesota, and also 54 radio stations, with 19 in the North Star State.

Joining the family in the class of 2024 are

  • KMOJ Radio Watler “Q Bear Banks”
  • Newspaper columnist Bill Diehl
  • WCCO-TV political reporter Pat Kessler
  • Broadcast engineers Park and Paula Persons

The 2024 Minnesota Broadcasters Hall of Fame class will officially be inducted on Tuesday, October 1st, in a ceremony held in Rochester.
