News Talk 580/105.9 KMJ was honored by the City of Fresno Thursday, as hosts Christopher Gabriel and Christina Musson were honored for their service to the community.
Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer declared Thursday, April 18th, 2024 as Christopher Gabriel Day, Christina Musson Day, and Fresno’s Morning News Day.
The city bestowed the honors on the hosts due to recent awards they have won, as well as their focus on serving the community in the city.
Earlier this year, Gabriel — who hosts KMJ Morning News alongside Liz Kern Don York, and Gabe Navarro — won Golden Mike Awards for Best Newscast and Best Sportscast from RTNA Southern California.
Additionally, Musson won her second consecutive Gracie Award from the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation for Best Co-Host Talk/Personality in a Small/Medium Radio Market. She co-hosts Broeske & Musson with John Broeske from 9-11 AM on the Cumulus-owned news/talk station.
