Beasley Media Group announced Tim McKone as the new Headline Anchor and Co-host on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Zolak & Bertrand Show. The addition of McKone to the third chair is effective immediately.
McKone replaces Rob “Hardy” Poole, who moved to mornings with Fred Toucher on the station in January 2024. McKone has been a part-time on-air personality at the Sports Hub since 2013. In addition to co-hosting and providing headlines on all weekday and weekend shows across the station, he has served as studio host for the Celtics and Bruins radio broadcasts.
In the ratings book which just came out, the midday show finished strong with a 15.4 share for the quarter, ranking first with men 25-54, while the new morning show pairing also remained No. 1 registering a 17.9 share.
