CNN has announced the addition of a trio of reporters, with Brian Abel, Leigh Waldman, and Victoria Rubadiri joining the network.
Abel joins the network as a CNN Newsource correspondent. He’ll be based in Washington D.C. after previously working as the evening news anchor at WXYZ-TV in Detroit. Previous stops include KSHB (Kansas City), WDAY (Fargo), and WDAZ (Grand Forks).
Like Abel, Waldman will also work as a correspondent for CNN Newsource. She joins after serving as an investigative reporter at KSAT-TV in San Antonio. She previously worked as an morning anchor at WOWT-TV in Omahan and as an anchor, reporter, and producer for Victoria TelevisionGroup in Victoria, Texas. She will be based in New York.
Finally, the network has added Kenyan journalist and anchor Victoria Rubadiri to serve on its long-running series Connecting Africa. With her new role, Rubadiri will be based at the network’s operation in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi.
