For the 25th consecutive month, ESPN Digital was No.1 in the U.S Sports category in the month of March. Their data shows they reached 111.7 million unique fans in the month. When ESPN Digital is added to YouTube and the ESPN social platforms, ESPN reached more than 175 million unique fans, which is more than two-thirds of all adults in the United States.
Continuing the domination in the digital space, the ESPN app was No. 1 in the mobile sports app category with 25.7 million unique fans and the ESPN Fantasy app was No.1 among fantasy apps in March. On YouTube alone, ESPN had 762 million minutes viewed in the month, which is up 75% year over year. The ESPN YouTube page currently has 11.8 million subscribers.
On the social side, ESPN social topped the sports category for the 33rd straight month and generated more than 680 million engagements.
This comes off a record-setting performance in February where ESPN Digital reached 47% of all users in the U.S. sports category and 103.4 million unique visitors.
