College football is releasing schedules this week and ESPN and its family of stations will have unprecedented coverage, carrying around 1,000 regular season games across its platforms. Games will air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, Big 12 Now on ESPN+, ESPN+, SEC Network+ and ACC Network Extra.
It will all start in Dublin, Ireland when Florida State and Georgia Tech play on August 24 at 12 p.m. ET. It will culminate with the CFP National Championship on Jan. 20.
Week 1, which begins Thursday August 29, will see Clemson play Georgia with a noon ET kickoff at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, which is also the site of this year’s CFP National Championship game.
At 3:30 p.m. ET that day, the SEC on ABC era begins with Florida playing host to Miami, followed by ABC Saturday Night Football with Notre Dame playing Texas A&M. College GameDay will air live that morning from College Station.
Some other marquee games on the schedule include Georgia at Alabama, Saturday Sept. 28 on ABC, Texas vs. Oklahoma, Saturday Oct. 12 on either ABC or ESPN and Florida vs. Georgia, Saturday Nov. 2 on ABC.
A full schedule is set to be released on June 11.
