Landry Locker who has been a fixture at SportsRadio 610 in Houston as a host and Executive Producer announced yesterday was his last show with the station and that he is taking his talents to YouTube. Locker had most recently been part of the In The Loop show from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. each weekday.
“Today was my last show at SportsRadio 610,” Locker posted on his X account. “I’ll be focusing on The Locker Room stream on YouTube and trying to evolve with the game. I also need to balance not burning myself out and keeping the joy I’ve always had for being in the best business in the world. 610 is still the sports leader and have some good ass memories with everyone on that staff, the success and roller coaster was fun and I NEVER took a show for granted . Fun time to follow and talk about sports around here. I’m blessed and kinda basic for saying I’m blessed, lol. Talk to you tonight at 10:30pm central inside The Locker Room.”
The Locker Room Featuring Landry Locker YouTube page has over 750 videos and currently has over 9,000 subscribers. Locker describes the page as, “A resource for Texans, Houston sports and NFL fans that want the pulse of what’s going on in Houston.”
Locker moved to Houston at the end of 2016 after having been with The Fan in Cleveland briefly as the Executive Producer of The Ken Carman Show. Prior to that he had been with ESPN Radio in Dallas.
