MSNBC host Joe Scarborough is one of the louder voices criticizing not only political conservatives but conservative pundits, too. Buck Sexton is firing back.
On social media, Sexton mentioned he turned on Morning Joe Monday morning and did not like what he saw.
“Occasionally flipping on MSNBC’s Morning Joe is a window into the vapid soul of the coastal, aspirational-elite Democrat. The hosts and guests exude a smug self-righteousness and tireless sanctimony that seems almost impossible,” said Sexton. “How could anyone be so shallow, but think themselves insightful, even profound? It’s like they live in another dimension. Amusing stuff.”
The sentiment shared by Buck Sexton is virtually the exact same argument made by Joe Scarborough toward conservatives. In recent weeks, the MSNBC host has argued that Republicans and conservative media members don’t share the same reality he experiences.
‘They seemed to be in an alternate universe,” Scarborough said of Fox News late last month after former President Donald Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts in New York. “They still are in the echo chamber right now. So, again, it’s their decision. I keep trying to tell them to open up. Don’t be in the plastic bubble. Open up. Go out there. Get information from other sides. Be more competitive. They just can’t.”
