Derald “Woody” Johnson leaves behind retirement to return to the air at North American Broadcasting Company’s WJKR (Country 103.9)/Columbus, OH. He will host PM Drive beginning July 22nd.
Johnson’s “Woody & The Wake Up Call” held down mornings on iHeartMedia’s WCOL (Country 103.9)/Columbus for two decades until the end of 2021.
Johnson said, “It’s an opportunity to which I couldn’t say ‘no.’ The ability to reunite with no less than seven former super-talented co-workers/friends without needing that 3 a.m. alarm on a terrific sounding station. Country 103.9 is poised to make some waves.”

The show will be hosted primarily from Johnson’s Las Vegas home, with the first week being entirely live in Columbus.
