Michael Rizzo is joining Good Karma Brands sports station ESPN West Palm as a new on-air host and content teammate.
Rizzo — the son of Cleveland sports radio legend and co-host of ESPN Cleveland’s The Really Big Show, Tony Rizzo — has previously worked at Peoria Sports Radio 101.1, where he hosted Primetime in Peoria with Mike Rizzo as well as The Jim Mattson Show with Mike Rizzo in the Illinois market. He has also spent time at his father’s home station as an intern early in his career.
“Can’t wait to get started with such a great team and couldn’t be more thrilled to be back with Good Karma Brands,” Rizzo said in a social media post announcing his new position.
It is unclear where Rizzo will fit into the station’s lineup. Currently, the only local programming heard daily is Theoretically Speaking hosted by Theo Dorsey from 5-6 PM. The station also hosts ESPN West Palm Tonight on Thursdays from 6-7 PM.
