Nationally syndicated radio host and Blaze Media founder Glenn Beck is not attending the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee this week. On Wednesday evening, he updated followers on a recent medical procedure.
Beck informed social media followers that he underwent surgery to rectify an issue with kidney stones.
“Last night, I spent the night with a great team of nurses and doctors. I had several kidney stones that needed to be removed. I had surgery this morning and am doing fine,” Beck revealed. “I am at home in the mountains recovering and watching the (Republican National Convention).”
After undergoing the surgery, The Glenn Beck Program host was not on the program on Wednesday or Thursday morning. Jeff Fisher and Stu Burguiere hosted the program on Wednesday while Pat Gray and Burguiere hosted in the usual host’s stead Thursday.
Beck is one of the only Premiere Networks hosts not in attendance at the Republican National Convention. Armstrong & Getty, The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show, The Jesse Kelly Show, and The Ben Ferguson Show are all in the Wisconsin city for the party’s event.
