Keith Olbermann: Sebastian Gorka Used Racially Insensitive Phrase Brian Kilmeade Was Accused Of Using

"Sebastian Gorka -- literally and seemingly proudly -- called Kamala Harris 'colored.'"

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade was accused of using a racial epithet about Kamala Harris Wednesday. He was later defended and absolved of any wrongdoing, but Keith Olbermann would like to point out Sebastian Gorka did use a racially insensitive phrase.

On Wednesday’s edition of FOX & Friends, Kilmeade criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for attending a national convention of a historically Black sorority rather than be present at the Congressional address by Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In his criticism, he said she would rather speak to a “college sorority” — which was misconstrued as saying a “colored” sorority.

While Keith Olbermann did not back Kilmeade during Thursday’s episode of his Countdown podcast, he did believe it was important to note that Salem Radio Network host Sebastian Gorka did use the word “colored” to describe Vice President Harris, and shared that the host deserved to be treated similarly to Kilmeade.

“While we’re arguing about whether or not Trump’s top morning TV advocate just used ‘colored’ about Kamala Harris, everybody forgets that two weeks ago Trump’s favorite foreign fascist — Sebastian Gorka — literally and seemingly proudly called Kamala Harris ‘colored.'”

Olbermann then played a clip of Gorka saying that Harris is a “DEI hire.”

“She’s a woman. She’s colored. Therefore, she’s gotta be good,” Gorka said.

“Do you think perhaps he called her ‘college’?” Olbermann asked, alluding to the situation with Kilmeade. “I think she’s ‘college.'”

In the aftermath of Wednesday’s incident, Kilmeade has denied any wrongdoing, with contemporaries coming to his aid, including FOX & Friends co-anchor Lawrence Jones, who called critics “dishonest” for attempting to say the host did anything maliciously.
