ESPN 630 The Sports Capitol has made several changes to its daily lineup, including moves for Tony Kornheiser and Bram Weinstein.
The station is moving The Bram Weinstein Show out of afternoon drive, where it was previously heard from 3-6 PM. It has now been reduced to a one-hour program and will air from 11 AM-Noon, after The Andy Pollin Show, which remains in its 9-11 AM timeslot. Polin and Weinstein have been members of the station’s lineup since joining in 2019 after previously working at crosstown rival The Team 980.
The new timeslot for Weinstein was previously where The Tony Kornheiser Show was situated in the Cumulus Media sports talk station’s lineup. Now, the program from the longtime host will air from 2-3 PM.
Amid the changes, the station will now air #Greeny — the nationally syndicated ESPN Radio show hosted by Mike Greenberg — on a delayed basis from 12-2 PM.
The Line Change, which is hosted by Mike Callow, expands from a one-hour show to a two-hour program. It also moves up from its 5-6 PM window to airing from 3-5 PM.
The station has also added a new “best of” program called Today’s Soundbites From ESPN 630 that will be heard from 5-5:30 PM, with a half-hour program called Commanders Daily airing in the second portion of the drivetime hour. The show will be hosted by Weinstein, who serves as the radio play-by-play voice of the Washington Commanders, and will feature daily commentary and soundbites from the NFL franchise for Washington D.C. listeners.
The new ESPN 630 lineup will now consist of:
