The 2024 election is heating up as Vice President Kamala Harris takes over the Democratic nomination from Joe Biden. The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh believes there’s a segment of conservative media members who are hoping she wins over Donald Trump.
In a post to the X social media platform, the nationally syndicated radio host alleged that a portion of his contemporaries are hoping for the outcome opposite of the one he’d prefer to see happen in November.
“There are ‘conservatives’ on this platform who will rip you to shreds if you point out any of the very obvious problems with the Trump campaign’s current strategy. These people do not care if we lose. They want to lose,” Walsh wrote. “Kamala gets them more clicks and engagement. Remember that.”
Another conservative radio host, AM 990 The Answer morning man Chris Stigall, appeared to co-sign Walsh’s sentiments. He wrote “In a click-bait-for-revenue world – losing is more profitable than winning. Negativity, conspiracy, etc will always draw more eyes than honesty, truth, and sincerity.”
