iHeartMedia has rebranded Classic Hits KOSF/San Francisco to Classic Hits 103.7.
Previously known as Classic Hits 103.7 80s Plus, the shift is designed to broaden the stations from an 80s core.
The new position is The Bay’s Greatest Hits Of The 70s, 80s & 90s
Ricci Filiar, KOSF PD, said, “Classic Hits really reflects what the station is all about. The music is timeless and the soundtrack of so many people’s lives.”
Don Parker, SVP of iHeartMedia San Francisco, added, “KOSF has broadened in era depth over the years, and Classic Hits truly defines our music recipe. We’re confident ‘Classic Hits 103.7’ will resonate with an even wider audience throughout the Bay Area and position the station for future growth.
The on-air lineup remains unchanged: Christie James in the mornings, Martha Quinn middays, Ron ‘Big Rig’ Michaels afternoons, and Clarence Barnes at night.
