Local business owners Jason Scott and Troy Schwiegerath have purchased Country KOMX (Country 100.3) and Full Service AC KGRO AM 1230/Pampa, TX. The pair was purchased from Southwest Media Group, which had owned the stations since June 2022.
Ahead of the closing, the ownership switch begins with a September 1 LMA.

We are grateful to our listeners and advertisers who have supported us during our ownership of the station and wish the new owners nothing but the best in this new endeavor.”
Southwest Media Group purchased the stations for $200,000. New ownership will assume a promissory note for $143,873.65.

Southwest will retain ownership of its stations in Dumas and Amarillo.
