Washington Interstate Broadcasting’s Top 40 KRKZ (Hits 94.3)/ Chinook WA has spun the format wheel landing on Classic Hits.
The company recently closed on a $250,000 purchase from Meadows Broadcasting. Owner John Paul adding to his station portfolio, which includes KLOG (Classic Hits 100.7)/Kelso, WA, KUKN (Cookin Country 105.1)/Longview, and Rock KUKN-HD2(101.5 The Blitz).
The station’s new lineup is Paul mornings 6-10, Steph Meadows 10-3, Noah “Porkchop” Homsley afternoons 3-7, and “Commander” Scott Lander 7-mid.
The KRKZ website lists Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Doobie Brothers, Huey Lewis and The News, Madonna, Eagles, The Cars, Fleetwood Mac, and Journey as core artists.
