For the eighth consecutive week, ABC News topped the Sunday political affairs ratings in the coveted Adults 25-54 demographic with This Week with George Stephanopoulos.
On Sunday, August 11th, the show earned 2.68 million viewers. Included in that figure were 492,000 in the key demo. However, the show was eclipsed in total viewers by Face the Nation from CBS News, which saw 2.82 million viewers and 388,000 in the persons 25-54 demographic.
Meet the Press, the program from NBC News, continued to be preempted for the network’s coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympics from Paris.
Additionally, FOX News Sunday — hosted by Shannon Bream — saw a total of 925,000 viewers, with 192,000 coming in the demo.
For ABC News, the showing by George Stephanopoulos marked a second consecutive week of year-over-year ratings growth, with Sunday’s program seeing a 14% increase in the demographic.
