Sinclair has announced it is expanding its podcast division and will launch a new slate of sports content. The Triple Option will launch on August 21 which will be hosted by Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram II and Rob Stone. Throwbacks, hosted by Matt Leinart and Jerry Ferrara will drop on September 5. Sinclair said additional shows will be added at a later date.

We have seen great success with our existing news-focused podcasts, and these additions will be a game-changer for sports fans everywhere, offering exclusive access to the stories and voices that matter most.”
The Triple Option will drop new episodes on Wednesdays. Sinclair describes the show as one that “will provide analysis, opinions, and unique insights on the biggest topics in college football, the NFL, leadership and more.”
Throwbacks will drop weekly on Thursdays and feature the former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback and actor Jerry Ferrara, who many will know as Turtle from HBO’s Entourage, who is a diehard sports fan.
