As the Democratic National Convention gets set to begin next week, SiriusXM has announced its coverage plans for the event.
The network will have extensive coverage of the convention on its Progress channel. Zerlina Maxwell will take Mornings with Zerlina to Chicago for the event. Meanwhile, Michaelangelo Signorile will be on hand for convention floor interviews. John Fugelsang, host of Tell Me Everything from 9 AM-Noon ET, will anchor primetime coverage from Chicago for the network.
Additionally, SiriusXM P.O.T.U.S. hosts Steve Scully (12-2 PM ET) and Julie Mason (3-6 PM ET) will be on-location for the duration of the convention. The channel’s nighttime program from RealClearPolitics will broadcast from Media Row in on Monday through Thursday.
Finally, Scully and Mason will host nightly specials centered around the convention. Coverage from inside the United Center will begin at 8 PM ET each night, with the channel providing coverage of all major speeches live.
