TNT Sports’ Mountain West Football Coverage Includes Mike Golic Jr., Victor Cruz

Studio coverage throughout the year on TNT Sports will be hosted by Adam Lefkoe and include a roster of analysts with playing experience.

Earlier in the summer, TNT Sports and the Mountain West Conference agreed to a multiyear media rights deal for college football games from the entity to air on truTV and Max starting this season. Under the new deal, truTV and Max will be presenting 14 Mountain West college football games during the inaugural season, beginning with a kickoff matchup between San José State and Sacramento State on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST.

Ari Wolfe will be the play-by-play announcer for the game, and he will be joined by analyst Darius Walker and reporter Jared Greenberg. Two nights later, opening week coverage continues with the San Diego State Aztecs facing the Texas A&M Commerce Lions, which will include the same commentary team.

Starting in the second week of the season and taking place throughout the year on doubleheader nights, J.B. Long will deliver play-by-play for games with analyst Mike Golic Jr. Long has worked as the play-by-play voice of the Los Angeles Rams since 2016, and he has also called football and various other sports for the Pac-12 Network up until this year. Golic, who also hosts the GoJo and Golic daily morning podcast on DraftKings Network, was an Academic All-American at Notre Dame before working at ESPN as a host and football analyst. Additional reporters will be part of the coverage throughout the season include Lauren Jbara, Nabil Karim and Bridget Howard.

TNT Sports is televising college football this season for the first time since 2006, and the entity will also present two first-round College Football Playoff games for each of the next two seasons as part of a sublicensing deal with ESPN. Beginning in the 2026 season, TNT Sports will add two quarterfinal games every year through the 2028 season.
