Ally Ali, morning co-host at Cox Media Group’s Top 40 WBLI (106.1 BLI)/Long Island, will meet listeners coming and going from work when she adds afternoons to her duties on September 3.
“Coming Home with Ally Ali” afternoons from 3-7 will be in addition to “The Syke Morning Show with Ally Ali,” which she co-hosts with Andrew ‘Syke’ Sykora. She joined the station in 2018 as an intern and held various positions before being promoted to morning co-host in 2021.
Ali said, “Thank you to everyone who has ever believed in my talents, encouraged me to be myself, and mentored me to this place. Thank you to our amazing listeners for your love and support each and every morning; you are the reason why I love radio so much. My heart is so full, and it is not lost on me that I am so lucky to have the career that I do, and we are just beginning, folks. Can’t wait to talk to you about your workdays, and celeb gossip, and new music, and all that jazz.”
The PM drive shift has been open since May when Kiana Singh left for overnights at iHeartMedia’s Top 40 WHTZ (Z100)/New York.
