Steve Zana Longtime Indiana 105 Valparaiso, IN Morning Host Has Died

Steve Zana, longtime morning host of “The Dawn Patrol” on Adams Radio Groups Country WLJE (Indiana 105)/Valparaiso IN., has passed away at the age of 63. He spent 27 years with the station and could also be heard on Classic Rock WXRD (X-Rock 103.9)/Crown Point, IN. and WZVN (Z107.1)/Lowell, IN.

Zana hosted and produced a weekly segment that helped shelter animals find permanent, loving homes.

Zana and his wife actively participated in the community theater and arts scene around Valparaiso.

 In July, Zana revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
