Missouri Radio Station Owner Steve Kasper Passes Away

Steve Kaspar, the owner and CEO of Kasper Broadcasting and radio stations Country KFAV/Warrenton, MO, and Traditional Country KWRE-AM/Warrenton, died Wednesday, September 4, following a sudden medical emergency. He was 71 years old.

The news was announced on the KFAV Facebook page:

“Steve died suddenly Wednesday evening after going to the Emergency Room at a local hospital. He was 71.”

“In addition to being the owner and CEO of Kaspar Broadcasting of Missouri, Steve was also an accomplished musician and songwriter, a passionate pet lover, believer in community, and a proud patriot.”

“Steve was married to his wife Pat for 45 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons- Ryan, Alex, and Trevor. A daughter-in-law, Lafayette and two granddaughters-Lillian and Olivia. He also leaves behind his radio station family, some of whom he had known for over 40 years.”

Funeral arrangements and a special radio memorial service are pending.
