Lakes Media Expands ‘Mountain Country’ In New Hampshire

Lakes Media has transitioned Classic Hits WASR-AM (1420 The Shore) and its 97.1 FM translator, W246DI/Wolfeboro, NH, to simulcast the WCGY (97.3 Mountain)/Jefferson, NH.

The company recently purchased the station and translator from Winnipesaukee Radio Station.

The company has filed to purchase translator 96.1 W241AJ/ Laconia, NH, from New Hampshire Gospel Radio for $7,500. The application indicates the intention to simulcast WASR.
