96.5 The Fan, which until the middle of last month was on the AM dial as 610 Sports, is the flagship station for the Kansas City Chiefs and has now added a new Chiefs contributor. Josh Brisco, who covers the team for SI’s ‘Chiefs on SI’ section, was named the new correspondent.
He previously did radio work with 810 WHB and had also spent time at The Athletic.
Brisco responded to the station’s social media post announcing his role, saying, “I’ll be joining 96.5 The Fan to talk Chiefs across the station as a correspondent throughout the football season! Excited to chat with the fellas – I just wish this team would give us something to talk about!”
96.5 The Fan’s Chiefs coverage features the broadcasting tandem of Mitch Holthus and Danan Hughes along with Josh Klingler, Dan Israel and Art Hains.
