Audacy has extended its contract with KOOL (BIG 94.5)/Phoenix afternoon host Niko Petrou. “The Niko Show” is heard on weekdays from 2 pm to 7 pm (MT)
Petrou is a 20-year radio veteran who joined the Audacy in 2018 as a morning show co-host for sister Country KMLE (KMLE Country 107.9). Before KMLE, Petrou held various roles at WBMP/New York, including APD, MD, and midday personality.
He also served as the evening on-air host for iHeartMedia’s Top 40 WHTZ (Z100)/New York. Additionally, Niko previously hosted “The Cut” on Music Choice.
Petrou said, “I’ve had an amazing experience since joining Audacy and moving to Phoenix. I’m beyond grateful for the listeners who have matched my vibe and helped me feel at home here. Thanks so much to Dave Pugh, Chris Hernandez, and Larry Morgan for continuing to support this playground we call work. There are BIG things to come, and I cannot wait to continue relishing in all that Phoenix offers.”
