Laurence Holmes Moves to Afternoon Drive with Matt Spiegel; Marshall Harris to Middays with Dan Bernstein on 670 The Score

"We're thrilled to announce that Laurence Holmes will join Matt Spiegel to form our afternoon show pairing! Their debut show together is today at 2 p.m."

As has been the case often lately, Audacy didn’t go far to replace Danny Parkins in afternoon drive on 670 The Score in Chicago. Just a few days after former 670 The Score host Jason Goff, who now does a podcast on The Ringer and will work for the new Chicago Sports Network, said he could not come to terms on an agreement with the company to take the open afternoon slot, the company has moved Laurence Holmes from this midday show with Dan Bernstein and he will now work with Matt Spiegel in afternoon drive.

670 The Score posted on its X account, “We’re thrilled to announce that Laurence Holmes will join Matt Spiegel to form our afternoon show pairing! Their debut show together is today at 2 p.m.”

“We’re thrilled to debut the future of afternoons on The Score by pairing Laurence Holmes with Matt Spiegel,” said Kevin Cassidy, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Chicago in a release. “Laurence’s deep knowledge of Chicago sports, coupled with Matt’s existing rapport with our afternoon listeners, promises to deliver compelling, insightful content that resonates with our audience. We’re equally thrilled to welcome Marshall Harris, a seasoned sports broadcaster with deep local ties, to our midday lineup.”
