FOX Sports Draws 4.2 Million Viewers for ‘FOX College Football Friday’ Game, Up 63% Over Last Week

The game was the most watched telecast of the day on any network and had a peak audience of 5.066 viewers from 11:15 pm to 11:30 p.m. ET.

The second week for FOX Sports airing FOX College Football Friday drew an audience of 4.213 million viewers, which was an increase of 63% over the 2.582 million from the week before. This’s past weeks game finished in overtime with Illinois pulling out a 31-24 victory.

The 4.2+ million audience was the best performance for a Friday night telecast on FOX in nearly a year. The game was the most watched telecast of the day on any network and had a peak audience of 5.066 viewers from 11:15 pm to 11:30 p.m. ET.

Last September, regular Friday night programming averaged 2.334 million viewers which put this broadcast 81% higher than that average from a year ago.

FOX will finish out September with Washington at Rutgers at 8 p.m. ET followed by Michigan State at Oregon on Oct. 4, that game will begin at 9 p.m. ET.
